Anonymous

There is this Hacker group called anonymous that hacks businesses politicians and people to expose them to the world. Depending on who you are they are either great people or a menace to society. Anonymity protects them from being persecuted by the law as naturally they are breaking countless laws to do what they do. But anonymity prevents certain actions from certain people to be seen which can be extremely vile or a major benefit to society. “While privacy is often lauded as a human right, anonymity receives far more critical scrutiny, if not downright condemnation, due to the fact that cloaking can provide cover for criminals and harassers, even as it allows for more noble quests such as truth telling” (2). This also reminds of Edward Snowden who was whistleblower. He told us that the NSA is spying on its American Citizens and because of the the lack of anonymity he was basically exiled to Russia. Even though he was in the right he was vilified and banished .
